• On Monday, November 8, the city’s newest food truck Tasty Trails drove into Kandivali West where it will be parked every evening and dish out a pasta-focused vegetarian menu featuring mac ‘n’ cheese, farfalle Alfredo and penne arrabbiata. • The second Mumbai outpost of Doolally Taproom opened in Andheri West on Wednesday, November 11. Like the taproom in Bandra Reclamation, this branch too will serve craft beers that have been transported from their microbrewery in Pune. •A branch of Cafe Cubano, the multi-cuisine restaurant and bar in Vile Parle run by Mouthwatering Hospitality, which also owns The Spare Kitchen in Juhu, will open at Kemps Corner on Saturday, November 14. This 70-seater outpost, which will replace 36 Oak & Barley, will specialise in comfort food from across the globe. The restaurant will offer lamb methi tacos; wasabi and curry leaf shrimp; Sichuan egg bhurji; edible cigars with goat cheese; puri bhaji tacos; chicken xacuti; Banarasi chole; dabba gosht; cutting chai panna cotta; and gulab jamun with paan cream. • The folks behind Lower Parel nightclub Tryst will launch a coffee-themed cocktail bar called Doppio in Breach Candy in December. The menu will offer such drinks as the espresso martini, rum cappuccino, whisky latte and garam masala espresso.
