It might be called Small Plates Week but the new culinary property by Cellar Door Hospitality, which also helms Chef’s Table Week, Dine Fest and Restaurant Week India, is designed to make you feel stuffed by the end of your meal. During Small Plates Week, which is slated to run from Friday, June 17 through Sunday, June 26, 15 casual-dining restaurants and gastropubs across the city will serve set menus comprising six vegetarian and six non-vegetarian small plates and four desserts. By paying Rs1,000 per person (excluding taxes) guests can order unlimited portions of all 16 dishes on the menu, which will feature signature dishes and bestselling items.”We had a Sunday brunch in mind,” said Mangal Dalal, co-founder of Cellar Door Hospitality. “The idea was to give diners unlimited portions of a wide variety of dishes, as opposed to a three-course menu that is common to Dine Fest and Restaurant Week India.”
