Asia’s Best Restaurant Gaggan Anand’s Gaggan in Bangkok is placed at No.23 on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list for 2016, which was published yesterday. Once again, European establishments dominated the survey, which is based on the selections by the eponymous academy. Tokyo’s Narisawa, runner-up to Gaggan on the Asia list, was ranked at No.8 and Hong Kong’s Amber (number four for Asia) at No.22. As for local representation, no desi restaurants figure in the register but Delhi’s Indian Accent did make the bottom 50, coming in at No.87. Here’s the top five:
