• The folks behind four-year-old supper club the Secret Supper Project launched Savor Lunch in the city on Wednesday, November 23. The gourmet lunch subscription service, which will operate only in Lower Parel, Tardeo and Worli until January, offers meal combinations such as tofu or pork katsudon with micro cabbage salad, sticky rice and matcha cheesecake; and wild mushroom or confit chicken crepes with vichy carrots and creme caramel. The menus span cuisines such as Japanese, French, Thai, Italian and Spanish and subscribers won’t know which dish they will get every day until they receive it. Meals are delivered from Monday to Friday. Weekly subscriptions are priced at Rs600 per meal or Rs3,000 for a week and monthly subscriptions at Rs450 per meal or Rs9,000 per month. • Papacream, the liquid nitrogen desserts salon from Churchgate, opened in Jogeshwari on Wednesday, November 30. The menu of ice creams, sorbets, waffle sundaes and milkshakes is the same across the two outposts. Open daily, from 11am to 12.30am. • European restaurant Su Casa is slated to open inside The Bombay Art Society, the art gallery in Bandra, on Sunday, December 4. The restaurant is helmed by Suren Joshi, co-owner of the Pali Village Cafe in Bandra and the I Think Fitness chain of gyms. The 3,000 square feet Su Casa, divided into indoor and al fresco sections, will also host morning yoga classes a few months after it launches. Open daily, from noon to 1.30am. • An outpost of Nice Kream, the ice cream salon chain, opened in Kemps Corner on Tuesday, November 29. Nice Kream, which has branches in Powai and Bandra, specialises in liquid nitrogen ice cream and molecular desserts. The menu offers milkshakes such as red velvet cheesecake, Irish cream and salted caramel; and sorbets including chilli guava; orange basil; and raspberry. Open daily, from 3pm to 1am.
