Beer and wine pong rounds and sangria-making workshops will be among the festivities at the inaugural edition of the Beer and Wine Out Festival. The event, which has been organised by Living Liquidz, the city-wide chain of alcohol stores, in association with High Street Phoenix will take place at the mall on Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1. If you’ve yet to sample Bira 91, the much-talked about Belgian-made Indian beer bottled by Delhi-based Cerana Beverages, then know that it will be available on tap as will craft brews by The White Owl. Among the wines on offer will be those by Berkmann Wine Cellars, Chandon India, Fratelli, Reveilo, Jacob’s Creek and Prestige Wines and premium labels such as Chateau Margaux, Chateau Lafite and Puligny Montrachet from France and Opus One from the US. Tickets to the fest, priced at Rs500 per head per day get you two tasting servings from all the participating breweries and vineyards. You can pair your drinks with croissants, burgers, biryani and noodles from Social. Both days will also have music performances. Beatboxing crew Voctronica will close the fest at 9pm on Sunday, November 1.
The Beer and Wine Out Fest will take place on Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1, from noon to midnight, at the High Street Phoenix Courtyard in Lower Parel. Tickets priced at Rs500 per head (inclusive of two free tastings from each participating vineyard and brewery) are being sold on Bookymyshow.com. Prices start at Rs150 per glass of beer and Rs200 per glass of wine.
