OPENINGS
True Tramm Trunk, a 75-seater lounge, opened in Juhu in the first week of February. The drinks menu features a number of house cocktails inspired by the different regions of India, including the Pawsar Country (tequila, triple sec, coffee beans and Sprite) and Tharra (house-made citrus rum and lemonade) and signature shooters like the Chocomoco (chocolate, vodka and sambuca) and the Three Idiots (triple sec, kahlua and tequila). The multi-cuisine food menu lists dishes such as cheese-stuffed Bhavnagari chillies; cottage cheese-stuffed mushrooms with barbecue sauce; Amritsari fried prawns; bhut jolokia fish burger with onion relish; crab burger with wasabi mayo; butter chicken pita pocket with onions and lettuce; veg Sri Lankan curry with sticky rice; and dum biryani. • Cafe Mezzuna, a chain of Mediterranean restaurants with outposts in Pune, Bangalore and Kolkata, opened its first branch in Mumbai at Infiniti Mall in Andheri West last week. The food menu at the all-day bar and kitchen, which is part of the Speciality Restaurants group (Mainland China, Oh! Calcutta, Hoppipola), offers dishes such as spinach and Greek feta sambousek with creamy garlic dip; grilled prawn skewers with hot anchovy and garlic butter; wild mushroom, sun-dried tomato, wilted spinach and goat cheese pizza; chargrilled smokey lamb mini burgers; Norwegian smoked salmon, cream cheese, dill and lemon crepe; lemon-infused seafood risotto; Moroccan lamb chops with black olives and cous cous; and vanilla bean creme brûlée with almond biscotti. Soi Kitchen has opened in Ghatkopar. The vegetarian pan-Asian restaurant is the newest property of Corum Hospitality, the F&B company that runs The Bar Stock Exchange and Masala Zone chains. The menu lists Tibetan thukpa; pandan paneer; Hunan jackfruit; corn chilli with cheese momos; tomato and cheese maki rolls; papaya salad; mushroom Manchurian; khow suey; Massaman curry; Laav Sa Taav (diced vegetables with cashew nuts in a gold curry paste); teriyaki rice; Korean BBQ noodles; and choco lava rolls. REOPENING
• Kofuku in Bandra has relocated within the same suburb. The Japanese restaurant has shifted from Kenilworth Mall to the same building as Shoppers Stop on Linking Road. CLOSING
• The Kemps Corner outpost of Costa Coffee, located in the same building as Pizza Metro Pizza, closed at the beginning of the month.
