For this fortnight’s episode of their podcast the Adventures of Cheap Beer, the trio of dive bar reviewers Karan Agarwal, Siddhant Mehta and Suyash Barve visited the non-AC section of Fort seafood institution Apoorva with guests, filmmaker Mihir Desai and former sports journalist and current security firm owner Yash Sawant. Here are five things we learned about the restaurant and bar from the episode:

1. The air-conditioned section does not serve quarters. In fact, a large peg of Old Monk in the AC room is priced almost the same as a whole quarter of the stuff in the non-AC area.

2. They serve gin cocktails, namely the gimlet, Singapore Sling and Clover Club, and tequila shots complete with salt and lime.

3. The service is super-fast, though it takes three staff members to make a single cocktail.

4. In addition to a number of excellent dishes, the food menu lists a mutton Urmila kebab, which the waiters dissuade customers from ordering (for good reason).

5. They have wall reliefs of fish.
